Clean Shift Sweden is proud to welcome Mattias Norling as the new CEO of the company. With a background combining extensive leadership experience in both the public sector and the rapidly growing solar energy industry, Mattias brings unique expertise and strategic thinking that will be invaluable in our continued growth journey.
After 13 years as a police officer, Mattias chose to change career paths and has since built solid experience in the solar energy field. He has held leadership roles in project development, business development, and key account management, with a particular focus on strategic planning, landowner relations, and operational leadership. At Turn Energy, Mattias worked as Corporate Key Account Manager, responsible for both daily operations and the long-term development of the company’s solar park projects. For his efforts, he was named Employee of the Year 2022.

Mattias is 48 years old and lives with his family in Uppsala. Alongside his professional career, he has also competed at an elite level in athletics, achieving Nordic top-class results in middle-distance running. He is a two-time Swedish champion in the 1500 meters – winning national titles both indoors (2000) and outdoors (2004).
– I am truly looking forward to leading Clean Shift Sweden and, together with the team, developing our projects and offerings in renewable energy. The need for sustainable energy solutions is greater than ever, and Clean Shift has all the prerequisites to play a key role in this transition, says Mattias.
Mattias will assume his new role on July 1, 2025.
